The Effusiva Estate is located on the northern slope of Etna, a World Heritage Site, near Passopisciaro

Tenuta Effusiva is a family-run business born at the foot of Mount Etna, between Solicchiata and Passopisciaro, at 750 meters above sea level. It covers about 5 hectares in a territory unique in the world for its energy, history, and nature. Our work takes shape from a land that breathes, moves, and changes continuously: a land that creates, destroys, and regenerates. It is from this primordial force that our identity is born.

The name Tenuta Effusiva has a personal and profound history.

When I was 9 years old, during a lesson, I heard for the first time the description of effusive rocks. That concept—the lava that flows, expands, and then solidifies into new landscapes—struck me so much that it stayed with me for my whole life. Growing up on Etna, surrounded by this continuous dialogue between fire and earth, I felt that this name perfectly represented what I wanted to build: a company capable of conveying energy, transformation, authenticity.

We firmly believe that a great wine is born from meticulous work, careful selection of grapes, and respect for our land. Every bottle we produce is the result of an artisanal process that combines passion, experience, and the authenticity of our volcanic terroir.
